With more than fifteen years of experience in the world of interiors, Ressie’s design journey began at the University of Georgia, where she earned her degree in Furnishings and Interiors in 2008. Since then, she has immersed herself in many facets of the industry. From high-end custom cabinetry and handcrafted tile and stone to luxury plumbing, lighting, and hardware, each chapter refined a different layer of her craft.

Her most recent role with a design-build firm ultimately brought everything together. It grounded her creativity in the practical realities of construction, giving her hands-on knowledge of how ideas become structures and how thoughtful design translates from concept to jobsite execution. Those years of learning—and the discipline gained from seeing every detail through—naturally led to the launch of her own firm, Ressie & Co.

Ressie approaches interiors with a love for architecture, art, whimsy, and the unexpected moment that makes a room unforgettable. Her work balances creative vision with order; beauty with thoughtful function. She believes deeply that design should comfort, inspire, and serve the people who inhabit a space.
